From Sea to Shining Sea

Hitting 4000+ miles (too bad we didn't take my Prius!), we finally put our toes in the Atlantic Ocean! Yesterday, Bob cruised through golf in 2.5 hours enabling him to endulge in a massage at The Greenbrier Spa where I was. It is the satellite location for The Greenbrier in Virginia and is complete with peppermint towels placed around your neck when you are finished with your treatments and a mimosa before you begin.
As we drove to Hilton Head, I caught a billboard proclaiming the site tour for the HGTV Green House and took a little detour to see it. It was the one they were giving away online. Unfortunately for us, HGTV was filming it and it was closed to the public because the drawing was this week. "Darn"! for me and "Yah" for Bob.
We arrived at The Inn at Harbour Town at Sea Pines Resort and the hotel is great. We are overlooking Hole #1 on the Links Course and I just watched Bob tee off with his foursome and their caddie. Yesterday, we rode on the extensive arrangement of bike trails on the island. I even took the bike on the beach and rode up and down the packed sand. How weird was that? Cruising down a beach near the water on sand! I am heading out for another bike ride and then we move on to Pawley's Island to both play Caledonia.
